View of a sign in front of the wreckage of the DeDominces residence, which was destroyed by tornado that touched down in Beecher, a community near Flint, Michigan. Shovel leans against sign, which reads: "We went through it. Guess we will return. T. DeDominces." Smaller sign reads: "1171 DeDominces. Now staying." Handwritten on front: "June 1953." The tornado, which struck Genesee County, Michigan on June 8, 1953, is considered to be one of the deadliest tornadoes in U.S. history.
