View of a World War II memorial at Parkside Homes and Addition, located at the southeast corner of Connor Avenue and Frankfort Road. The memorial, which is a cannon and plaque, honors the men and women of Parkside Homes who served in the armed forces during World War II. Located at Connor and East Warren Avenues, Parkside Homes was the first federally-funded low-income public housing project built in Detroit and Michigan. Finding aid: "View south, front."
