Edgar of Carlstad, N.J. was driving along Ridge Road in North Arlington at about 4:40 a.m. his machine collided forcibly with the milk wagon driven by the fire chief of North Arlington. The wagon was swerved to one side, and the speeding auto continued, bounding over a row of boulders, and wound up as the picture shows. Mr. Edgar was locked up on a charge of driving under the influence of liquor."
