Printed on front: "I will welcome you to Cross Village with out stretched hands and a big smile. Cross Village cross erected by Father Marquette, A.D. 1700, Cross Village, Mich." Handwritten on back: "Cross village, 12-18-1916. Dear One, Just a card to ask you to come up for Xmas if you can. We are going to have a dinner down to Lulu's house. Have Vivian if she will come. I think that Glenn will be here too. From your folks at home." Card is postmarked December 20, 1916.
