It has been an up & down nearly all the time. I would feel fine, think I was O.K. again, when back I would slip and there was days I did not feel good again. I had expected to see you all the first but Elsie could only come Aug. 19 or Sept. 22nd I at first [undecipherable] to [undecipherable] the 18 but my people up here did not want me to return until the 22 second. I will have to have another check up then before I start work but am anxious to get started again. Love to all, Frances." Card is postmarked August 29, 1934.
