Printed on back: "This building located on a promontory overlooking the city (approximately 1400 ft. above sea level), is one of the landmarks which can first be seen in approaching the city from all directions. It was completed in 1913. Built of brick and trimmed in Bedford limestone, it is fire proof in every respect. All the county records are kept here and are thus safeguarded against destruction. Natural color postcard made in U.S.A. by E.C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee, Wis. (GCF)." Handwritten on back: "Hello Honey: Having a grand time had a birthday party last night, what a surprise. Ida is feeling pretty good so glad to have us hear [sic]. Leona is with us to [sic]. Lot of love from all of us, Anna." Card is postmarked 1947.
