View of children and motorists in cars lined up in street for parade, waving flags, during the 1906 second annual excursion for orphans sponsored by the New York Motor Club. Street is lined with billboards and buildings; church in background. 1,200 children were taken on a trip to the Dreamland amusement park at Coney Island. Stamped on back: "Photo by F. Ed. Spooner, 1536 B'way, telephone 6536-38th St., New York, N.Y." Handwritten on back: "Orphan's parade, 6/6/06. Tours--New York Orphans Day outing, 1906."
