View of a wooden-frame house with a covered entry porch in Battle Creek, Michigan. Handwritten on front: "When are you & Mrs. [undecipherable] coming on excursion I wish you would." Handwritten on back: "Dear Friend, I do not know whether my turn to write, but this is a picture of our house last Spring. I am not any too well as usual I have been very busy when not too tired. Carol has been away a month we have had lots of hot weather our minister preached last sermon last Sun. I have not been able to go much lately but hope to again soon. Baby walks some & is getting good now." Card is postmarked August 7, 1911.
