View of the main dining room at the Battle Creek Sanitarium in Battle Creek, Michigan. Room is furnished with chairs and cloth-covered tables. Columns are decorated with garlands. Printed on front: "Main dining room. Sanitarium, Battle Creek, Mich. 59." Handwritten on back: "We are kept pretty busy with treatments. The dining room is on the top (6) floor. It is such a pretty room, but no coffee, tea or meat is served here. Yet the food is good. They scrub us and rub us till we are surely clean. Hope you will try to cheer up the dear 'boys' at home. Did Fran come. With love to all. Hastily, Rita." Card is postmarked January 24, 1910.
