Handwritten on back: "Dear Joe, I have been transferred. Am now in 1st Co. 1st Br. The rest the same. This is some winter I never before saw so much snow as we have here. I am feeling great and Uncle Sam has taken good care of us here. Hope you are well. Sincerely, Clarence." Card is postmarked January 30, 1918.
