Thout [sic] maybe you didn't get my letter but was glad when I knew you did I wrote a card to Ethel just a few minutes ago I was downtown this afternoon and got some postal cards to send to you. Can you come to Alpena for a little visit after you get well I wish you would we would have some squash for dinner that we raised in our garden. Please come, love F.T. I will write a letter tomorrow maybe." Card is postmarked October 7, 1909.
