Souvenir postcard featuring a "Detroit" pennant with inset view of the steamer "City of Detroit." Printed on front: "You ought to be with me in Detroit. We'd have a joy ride. The new steamer 'City of Detroit'." Handwritten on back: "Friend Sherwood, now you can't say I have never written you! How are you and hows things coming along over your way? I am back at work and getting along nicely. Had a dandy visit back in Indiana last month. My regards to all the friends. [undecipherable]." Card is postmarked September 6, 1913.
