Diamond-tipped tools along DeSoto's piston line bore pin holes positioned to the thousandths of an inch from the side and top of the pistons -- an operation that insures perfect fit and smooth performance. From: Press Bureau, J. Stirling Getchell, Inc., New Center Bldg., Detroit." Handwritten on back: "Factories--DeSoto, 1938."
