View of a man operating a press for the manufacture of 1938 DeSoto automobile crankcases. Typed on back: "Miniature car models? Guess again! Brely [sic] one motorist in ten, nowadays, ever sees the underside of his automobile -- so it's necessary to explain these are oilpans for the crankcase of 1938 model DeSotos. Here's one of the giant presses at the DeSoto factory that trims, flanges and pierces this important part with a single movement of its powerful jaws. From: Press Bureau, J.
