On his left Henry Tim Ken, one of the judges in the Times-Herald Race, later famous for his production of roller-bearings. E.J. Pennington is standing in the center, none of his cars reached the center, none of his cars reached the starting line. (From booklet 'America's first automobile race,' by C.B. King."
