View of two women in a 1902 Duryea automobile, possibly a Duryea folding front phaeton or a Stevens-Duryea Model C. Woman on right is identified as the sister of Charles E. and J. Frank Duryea. Typed on back: "Subject: Duryea automobile (perhaps a Sterns [sic, should be Stearns]-Duryea. Collection: MS3/Charles E. Duryea Collection. Date: 1902. Source: Estate of Charles E. & M. Jerry Duryea. I.D.: Duryea folding front phaeton (or) Stevens-Duryea, Model C. (Sister of Duryea Brothers seated on right)." Handwritten on back: "Stevens Duryea, California. On the right is a sister of the Duryea brothers."
