View of a 1935 Lincoln Zephyr sedan. Label on back: "First Lincoln Zephyr. Introduced October 5, 1935. Production of Lincolns and Lincoln-Zephyrs, 1936 - 22,001. Price (four-door sedan pictured), $1320. Features: V-12 110-horsepower engine. Compression ratio 6.7 to 1. Displacement 267 cubic inches. First time V-12 engine cast complete in one piece. Car was outgrowth of 'Car of the Future' shown at Chicago Century of Progress. Wheelbase 122 inches. Overall lenth [sic] 203 inches. Running boards minimized; curb level entrance height. 'Alligator' top-opening hood hinged at rear. Aluminum alloy cylinder heads. Aerodynamic design. Almost equal weight distribution, front and rear axle."
