View of a woman worker setting up an automatic screw machine for torpedo manufacture at the International Harvester Company. Label on back: "Aircraft torpedo manufacture. International Harvester Company, 180 No. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Ill. I-18-GG. This woman employe of the torpedo plant has been trained to set up machine tools for operation. She makes the final adjustments on tools prior to the machine being put in operation. Her portable tool bench is shown in the foreground and she is here making a final adjustment on an automatic screw machine. Jan. 13, 1943." Handwritten on back: "Women workers."
