Hitler and Tojo failed to foresee the rapidity with which American automobile plants could convert their facilities to the manufacture of planes and other war material. Two years ago this Hudson plant in Detroit was making automobiles. Today it is turning out a steady stream of fuselage sections for Martin B-26 Marauder bombers which are doing a great job in all theaters of war. The fuselage assembly line pictured is just one in the huge plant." Handwritten on back: "Women workers."
