Fairlane models for 1964 combine proven performance with family-sized interiors and an easy-to-park intermediate size. New roof styling for 1964 features a wider, lower appearance as shown in the Sports coupe model (top photo). Highly sculptured sides give the Fairlane a look of grace and motion. Fairlane station wagons for 1964 feature a trim look that belies their load-carrying capacity. A concealed stowage compartment for valuables is standard on all Fairlane wagons with a lock for added safety and convenience optionally available. Engines range from an economical 170-cubic-inch six cylinder to a high performance 289 cubic-inch V-8. The new Fairlane models will appear in Ford dealer showrooms September 27. From the News Bureau.
