Label on back: "For release in Friday AM's, September 20, 1963. Rectangular taillights integrated with the rear bumper design give the completely restyled 1964 Thunderbird a new personality all its own while retaining the classic look of earlier models. New comfort and convenience features include a silent, draft-free ventilation system utilizing a vent below the rear window illustrated on the Landau model (top photo). The vent is opened and closed by a vacuum control switch on the console. Interior styling for 1964 Thurnderbirds features a cockpit motif for both driver and passenger (bottom photo). Thin-shell bucket seats that appear to 'float' add stylish comfort to an interior that includes a distinctive new command console and a completely redesigned dash panel with separate instrument pods and a drum-type speedometer that gives a red indicator a progressive effect as speed is increased. The 1964 Thunderbirds will appear in Ford dealer showrooms September 27. From the News Bureau. Ford Division of Ford Motor Company. Rotunda Drive at Southfield Road, P.O. Box 608, Dearborn, Michigan.
