This Navy long-range patrol bomber is one of the growing fleet of four-engine planes now being built by Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation, producers also of the famed Liberator bomber, Liberator Express, and Catalina, a flying boat. Designated by the Navy as the PB2Y-3, this model is known as the Coronado. It is the largest and most powerful mass-production airplane in Navy service and has a wingspan of 115 feet, length of 79 feet and a gross weight of 66,000 pounds. It has a normal range, fully loaded, of about 3000 miles. Crew capacity is seven." Stamped on back: "Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp., Lindbergh Field, San Diego, Calif.
