A billion .45 and .30 caliber bullets have already been shipped from the Chrysler Corporation, Evansville Ordnance Plant. This plant employs in excess of 12,000 people. Each bullet must go through almost one hundred operations before it is finally shipped to the fighting fronts. Each bullet must be perfect. No scratches, dents or imperfections are permitted. Dimensions must be exact to .001 of an inch. (VL-2219)." Handwritten on back: "Ammunition."
