Label on back: "Here two Ducks, loaded with cargo for the front, speed for shore. The Buck can travel 50 miles per hour on land. It's speed in water is a military secret, but is known to be faster than first expected. In the background is a huge artificial harbor installation known as 'Phoenix' type, which will be sunk and used as docks." Typed on back: "ETO HQ 44 20414 15 Nov. Credit, U.S. Army Signal Corps. Photog., Pvt. Seaborne 3120, Channel B.S. Phoenix, shown from Mole Central where it will be sunk and used as a dock. Le Harve [sic], France." Handwritten on back: "Amphibious vehicles."
