Sub assemblies of the type pictured above provide DeSoto-built Helldiver center wing panels with leading and trailing edges, center wing rib constructions and other internal wing units. Later the units above will be lowered from a balcony with a former automobile body drop to become part of a wing on the main DeSoto wing building. From Ruthrauff & Ryan, Inc., Detroit, Michigan."
