View of workers constructing auxiliary fuel tanks for bomber aircraft at the Fisher Body plant. Label on back: "(Editor's note: this picture has been approved by the U.S. Army Air Corps). Auxiliary fuel tanks such as those pictures in construction above will give valuable assistance to the Army in ferrying bombers over long distances. These fuel tanks, being built in large quantities by Fisher Body, augment the normal fuel supply and give bombers a greater range. From: W.S.
