View of driver Paul Lacroix and his wife being arrested by policeman at New Haven, Connecticut during the 1909 New York to Boston endurance run. It was alleged that Lacroix was responsible for the death of A.W. Wallace of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Arrest of Paul Lecroix [sic] and wife at New Haven. Tours--New York to Boston Endurance Run, 1909."
