Employees and officials posing with last Studebaker truck
View of employees and officials posing with the last truck manufactured by the Studebaker Corporation at the factory in South Bend, Indiana. "The last truck of Studebaker's 1st century" is painted on door of truck cab. Label on back: "This was the scene just before the last truck built by Studebaker during its first century of operations was driven off the line recently in South Bend. Alongside the truck and almost hidden by workers is one of the Studebaker farm wagons built many years ago. Company officials joined men on the production line in the ceremonies marking the historic event. In the center, to the right of the truck cab door, is Kenneth B. Elliott, Studebaker executive vice president, and standing second from the left of the cab door is Richard G. Hudson, manager of Studebaker's truck division."
