Victoria Lucas Associates, public relations, 1414 Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York 10019, (212) 421-2021, (212) UL 2-5171. For immediate release. B.B. King and Lucille get big Gibson push. The reason for the happy smiles is the announcement by the Gibson Guitar division of the Chicago Musical Instrument Company to launch an extensive advertising and promotion campaign featuring ABC/Bluesway recording artist B.B. King and his famed Gibson stereo guitar called Lucille. 'B.B. King is one of this country's greatest guitar players -- blues or otherwise,' said Bruce Bolen, field sales manager. 'And we're very proud that he's a Gibson artist, too.' King (second from left) shakes hands with Bolen to clinch the deal which also includes his endorsement of the Les Paul amplifiers. Others in photo are Sidney A. Seidenberg, B.B. King's manager, and Jack Nead, product manager, amplifier division, Chicago Musical Instrument Company. Photo by Glen Craig.
