Bird's-eye view of Hiroshima, Japan after atomic bomb blast during World War II. Target is obscured by clouds and smoke. Typed on back: "58188 A.C., atomic burst obscures target. Clouds and smoke obscure Hiroshima from reconaissance planes seeking to photograph atomic bomb damage after the target was hit by the Army Air Forces. This picture was made on the same day but after the bomb had found the mark, the plane made the picture at approximately 25,000 feet elevation.
