Label on back: "First showing in Detroit of Chevrolet's experimental, magnesium-body Corvette will take place at the Michigan State Fair, starting Friday. The Corvette, built to test ideas for the future, weighs only 1,850 pounds. It has a tubular frame, special suspension system and two braking systems operated with one pedal. It's shown here with its builder, Zora Arkus-Duntov, Chevrolet engineer and European auto designer. Handwritten on back: "Chevrolet-Experimental, 1957. (Corvette Super Sport)."
