First of the pylon structures that will decorate Woodward Avenue and Washington Boulevard during the Golden Jubilee celebrations to be held on May 29 to June 9, 1946, is tried out for size. A total of 77 pylons will adorn light poles on Woodward Avenue from Grand Circus Park to the City Hall, while 28 similar structures will be used on Washington Boulevard."
