The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Handwritten on back: "At a negro country store nearing New Orleans, pathfinding trip, 1912. Tours--Glidden Tour, 1912."
