View of motorists with cars under the shade of two trees at New Orleans, Louisiana during the 1912 Glidden Tour. Although the official 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled, Charles Glidden led a caravan over the identical route that had been originally planned, from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Greetings at New Orleans, Glidden Tour, 1912. Tours--Glidden Tour, 1912."
