View of man posing in front of house at the farm of Walter E. Flanders, Orchard Lake, Michigan, during the pathfinding expedition for the 1912 Glidden Tour. The American Press Humorists were hosted at an event at the farm. The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Handwritten on back: "Taken in Sept., 1912 with press humorists at Mr. Flanders farm. Tours--Glidden Tour, 1912."
