View of spectators looking at banner displayed on rear of car during the 1910 Harrisburg Endurance Run. Banner reads: "Talk about live places, look up these Jersey towns, Wildwood, Bridgeton, Millville, Vineland, Salem, Alloway." Car is decorated with American flags. The Motor Club of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania sponsored spring and fall reliability contests which covered routes through Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Tours--Harrisburg Endurance Run, 1910."
