Close-up view of photographer F. Ed. Spooner speaking with Justice of the Peace H.T. Thompson at Lima, New York during the 1906 Glidden Tour. Several Glidden tourists were arrested and fined as part of a police trap in Lima. Spooner was fined $5 for allegedly using obscene language. Handwritten on back: "F. Ed. Spooner stating his case to the Justice of Peace. Fined 5.00 for using strenuous language. Tours--Glidden Tour, 1906."
