View of man reclining on ground, with his hand covering his eyes, during the 1909 Crippled Children's Outing sponsored by Wyckoff, Church & Partridge. Owners of Stearns cars loaned their vehicles to transport children of the Free Industrial School for Crippled Children to Coney Island and the Crescent Athletic Club. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Tours--Crippled Children's Outing, New York, 1909."
