Contestants circled Lake Michigan, passing through Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Watering at the church, R.C.H. press car was thirsty, Chicago Reliability Run, 1912. Tours--Chicago Reliability Run, 1912."
