Contestants traveled on routes through Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Drivers, officials, observers give Federal a hand out of deep hole. Tours--Chicago Reliability Run, 1911."
