View of spectators looking at McLauth-Juergens, Buick, Clark and other trucks lined up in street during the 1911 reliability contest sponsored by the Chicago Motor Club. Contestants traveled on routes through Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Tours--Chicago Reliability Run, 1911."
