View of motorists in three Buick trucks parked in front of commercial building during 1911 reliability contest sponsored by the Chicago Motor Club. Contestants traveled on routes through Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Sign on truck in rear reads: "Buick, official baggage truck, Chicago Evening American." Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Tours--Chicago Reliability Run, 1911."
