Nighttime view of four costumed men in car decorated with stovepipe, flags, feather dusters, hats, brooms and clothesline for 1908 automobile carnival in New York City. Man in back seat holds a goat; onlookers stand nearby. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc. 1931 Broadway, N.Y.C. This is only a rough proof. Finished pictures will be re-touched and greatly improved. All proofs must be returned. Kindly order by no." Handwritten on back: "Parades--Automobile Carnival, 1908."
