Photograph of letter from Lewis R. Speare, president of the Bay State Automobile Association to J.P Coughlin, president of the Worcester Automobile Club. Letter refers to protest of R.W. Owen of Buick car entered in race by Mr. Koehler. Owen claimed that said car was not a stock car according to specifications. Speare indicates that the investigation shows that this is not the case and disallows the protest. Handwritten on back: "Correspondence, 1906."
