Typed on back: "The first completed Chevrolet was driven on Detroit's West Grand Blvd., near Buchanan by Louis Chevrolet (at the wheel) and Mr. Murphy who was secretary to W.C. Durant. The photograph was taken in the latter part of 1911 by H.R. Winterhoff."
