Description
View of Wanderwell expedition crew posing with cars in front of brick building in Detroit, Michigan. Typed on back: "26. Detroit at last. By the time the Wanderwell expedition finally reached Detroit, there were six units included in the race. Although there was no World's Fair as had been planned, the crews met with a rousing celebration and became the toast of the town. Capt. Wanderwell received a lengthy private audience with auto magnate Henry Ford. Later Ford accepted the battered Unit 2 for the company's auto museum."
