Description
Portrait of baseball player Jimmy Slagle, holding a baseball bat. Printed on back: "James Slagle, centerfielder, is not a giant in stature but his smallness does not make any difference in his playing ability. He is a wonderful fielder and a fast man getting to first base. His ability to lay down and beat out bunts makes him a valuable man to head the batting order. Slagle was forced to rest during the greater part of the season owing to trouble with his knee but has rounded into shape and is playing his usual good game. Copyrighted and published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich., 1907."
