Description
View of Mordecai Brown, pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, preparing to throw a baseball. Printed on back: "Mordecai Brown, pitcher, one of the lead slab artists of the National League. Brown has been pitching the same brand of fine ball year in and year out and is noted for his steadiness in the pinches. What makes his work all the more remarkable is that he has only three fingers on his pitching hand. He has some peculiar way of imparting a curve to the ball and the batsmen have difficulty in connecting safely with his delivery. Copyrighted and published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich., 1907."
