Anyhow, in 1950 he led the League in stolen bases with 35. He batted .273 for 141 games, hit 18 homers, and drove in 58 runs. Came to the Braves after compiling an amazing record with Montreal in 1949. Stole 89 bases to set up a new International League record. Led in hits with 207, triples with 19. Batted .326.
