Holds many fielding records, of which can be tied but never topped. In 1942, with Phillies, went throught 151 games, accepting 317 chances, without error for a perfect 1.000 percentage. Batted .259 in 54 games for 1950 Reds. Danny teaches school in the off season. He holds a BS degress. No. 179 in the 1951 series baseball picture cards.
